GAF planned to carry out consistent interventions on environmental sanitation, good hygiene pollution control that will reduces people’s exposure to disease by promoting supports to a clean environment and water sanitation. The aim of this work is to help communities with measures to break the cycle of disease spread, protection and prevention. Environmental Sanitation involves both behaviors and facilities that work together to form a hygienic environment.

The period following the industrial revolution in Europe in the 19th century showed that improvements in sanitation, water supply and housing significantly reduced the occurrence of communicable diseases. Environmental health is the control of all the factors in a person’s physical environment that have, or can have, a damaging effect on their physical, mental or social wellbeing. We provide and support the promotion of community development such as: community empowerment, infrastructure, social amenities, environmental sanitation for the control of solid waste management, water and wastewater treatment, industrial waste treatment, noise and pollution control.
